From your drawings, a timber or foam pattern is produced to replicate the finished product exactly, including the surface texture. From this, a heavy duty GRP production mould is produced to enable the manufacture of finished products.
Our in-house ability to produce complex, multi-piece production moulds with high quality finishes is key,as the quality of each moulded component is a direct reflection of the mould itself. Controlling critical dimensions and shape is a result of moulds that are properly manufactured and structurally supported. Equally important is the type and quality of materials employed during mould construction.
We use the latest machinery along with CAD data to produce our tooling. We hold tight tolerance, as required, in both our tooling and moulding facilities.
Our in-house tool room is supported by a network of local affiliate suppliers who are audited and maintain capacity for us. This capacity ensures projects are brought in on time and on budget.
Conventional tooling lead time on a project may be typically 14 to 18 weeks. We regularly deliver within 8 to 10 weeks, even 4 to 6 weeks and often much faster.
