Pro-Laminates was originally started by partners Ray and Nick back in 1993 and has remained at the current location since the first day of opening.

Prior to starting Pro-Laminates, Ray worked for DJ Sports and Ram Sports cars. Ray has worked in the GRP field for over 38 years since leaving school and has obtained a vast knowledge of the industry and techniques that he has passed on to the dedicated staff at Pro-Laminates. 

Nick has worked in the GRP Field for just over 35 years. After graduating from college, Nick worked for a Fibreglass company rising up through the ranks at great speed and eventually moving on to start his own Hot Rod company called Street Rod Engineering in the early 1980's. Following Street Rod Engineering, Nick accepted an offer to work for D J sports where he met Ray. After several years together Nick left DJ Sports to start his own company called Covin Performance Mouldings making replica Porsche Kit Cars. CPM enjoyed many years of success before both Nick and Ray decided to get together and create Pro-Laminates in 1993.

Both Nick and Ray have an unsurpassed knowledge in the areas of classic, kit and hot rods and have mixed their own passion with knowledge to offer the best quality moulds in the business to customers both national and international. As well as a great deal of knowledge Nick and Ray have both built up an extensive list of contacts over the years and are considered by everyone within the industry to be the best in the business.
